Halloween Campaign
In the run up to the Halloween bank holiday weekend and over schools mid-term break our blood supplies can drop to a critical level, this is due to changes in routine as people go away on holidays and children are on break from school.
IBTS is running a Halloween campaign from the 23rd to the 31st of October to promote blood donation in a fun way, at a time when we most need people to give blood. This year in the lead up to Halloween Dracula has decided to apply to work at the Irish Blood Transfusion Service to learn more about the work that is carried out at IBTS and learn some facts about blood, to help us promote blood donation. We are running a competition on the Giveblood Facebook page from the 23rd to the 31st of October (excluding Sat, Sun, Bank Holiday Mon). There is one winner each day and they will receive a tasty prize. The Ts & Cs are available below:
