Register your interest to become a donor

Blood is in constant demand. Register your interest to be kept informed about clinics

When you have registered your interest, a member of our local Donor Services team will contact you about upcoming clinics and answer any questions you have about giving blood.
And of course, you don’t need to register to actually give blood! If you attend a clinic, we will register you at that clinic on the day.

We need to collect 3,000 donations weekly. Form October 1st, new EU regulations regarding donor haemoglobin levels mean 10% of our existing donor panel will be ineligible to give blood. That means we need new donors and we need existing donors to give blood more regularly.

Some key facts about blood;

  • Blood has a shelf life of 35 days.
  • 70,000 patients need a blood transfusion each year.
  • 1 in 4 of us will need a blood transfusion in our lifetime.

if you are interested in becoming a donor please complete the form below
