Give back to your community - Support giving blood!

Every week, we require over 3,000 blood donors to meet the urgent needs of hospitals across the country. Your workplace has the power to make a significant impact! We need your commitment to help fill those crucial weekday blood donation slots.

Giving blood is a straightforward and efficient process, taking about 90 minutes, and a single donation can save up to 3 lives. Here’s how your workplace can get involved:

Inform Your Team

Make sure all employees know about blood donation and upcoming clinics. Use posters, send informational emails, and encourage them to visit giveblood.ie to learn more. If your team is large, we can organize a presentation to explain the importance of donating blood and how they can make a difference.

Enable Donations

Help your employees donate blood easily. You can arrange transportation to local clinics, encourage them to use volunteer hours for donations, or allow them time off to give blood.

If your workplace has a large number of staff (at least 800), contact us about holding an on-site blood donation clinic.

Inspire Others

Encourage your team to talk about their donation experiences and recruit more workplaces to get involved. Personal recommendations can help bring more donors to clinics. Sharing your success can show what your business values and improve your reputation as a company that cares about the community.

Fixed centre clinics in Dublin & Cork

Our fixed centres in Dublin and Cork are conveniently located for workplace blood donations. We can arrange rides for your staff to our clinics. To set up a workplace donation, contact us or call 1800 731 137. 

 

Dublin - D'Olier Street:

  • Monday: 12:15pm - 15:45pm
  • Tuesday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
  • Wednesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
  • Thursday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Dublin - Stillorgan:

  • Monday :Closed
  • Tuesday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
  • Wednesday 1:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Thursday 1:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Friday: Closed.

Cork - St. Finbarr's Hospital:

  • Monday : 12:00pm - 2:00pm
  • Tuesday: 3:15pm - 7:45pm
  • Wednesday 11:15pm - 2:45pm
  • Thursday 3:15pm - 7:45pm
  • Friday: Closed.

We also have 6 mobile clinic teams that travel around the country, setting up clinics in places like school halls and hotel function rooms. We hope to see your employees there!
