There is a Malaria risk all year in the South and West provinces. There is no risk in the Eastern, Northern and Central provinces, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, Riyadh or Taif.
You cannot donate for 365 days (1 year) from the date you leave the malaria at risk areas as a visitor only e.g. a holiday / business trip of less than 6 months in duration.
There is a Tropical illness risk all year in the Southern part of the country only, south of Tropic of Cancer ( this includes Jeddah and Mecca but not Riyadh). For visitors only to the southern part of the country it must be a minimum of 90 days since you left the affected area before you can attend to donate.
There is a Dengue virus risk is all year in whole country and a Mers CoV risk is all year in whole country it must be a minimum of 28 days since you left the affected area before you can attend to donate.
