BloodWorks with ŠKODA Ireland
ŠKODA Ireland and IBTS both believe in exceptionally high standards of quality care, expertise and safety in everything they do and have partnered together in 2019 to encourage ŠKODA car owners (and ŠKODA staff) to think about giving blood in their local communities and the impact this has. You can read more about this partnership here and how ŠKODA Ireland are supporting the promotion of blood donation nationwide
ŠKODA Ireland employees are proud to be blood donors and take part in our BloodWorks, Work ferry programme in which IBTS transports small groups of employees, from the office to one of our fixed clinics to give blood and back to the workplace again. This whole process takes about two hours from end to end depending on the organisations location and we run our BloodWorks programme in both our Dublin fixed centers and also in Cork.
Oil is essential to the running of a car, whereas blood is essential to the running of the health service. With this in mind, IBTS invited ŠKODA Technian & Blood Donor, Ray to meet IBTS Medical Scientist and IBTS Education Officer Aileen so he could see what happens to a unit of blood after donation and how important every unit of blood is.
You can learn more about how ŠKODA Ireland is supporting blood donation nationwide here. If your organization wants to take part in our BloodWorks programme, you can block book appointments in our fixed center clinics in Dublin and Cork. Our fixed clinic details are below.
