IBTS cancels donor awards ceremony inDublintonight due to weather conditions

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has decided to cancel its donor award ceremony due to be held in Santry tonight (Sunday) 28^th November. 

IBTS Chief Executive Andy Kelly said that 450 people were expected to attend the awards ceremony for 50 and 100 time donors tonight in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.  “Considering the weather conditions and on the advice of the Gardai, we have decided to cancel the event. 

“Donors are being contacted by phone to advice them of the cancellation, we regret having to do so and will be in touch with donors in the new year regarding a rescheduled event.”
