NHO Annual Conference 2010
The NHO is pleased to confirm that the NHO Annual Conference will be held on Friday 19th November, 2010 in the Gresham Hotel, O'Connell Street, Dublin 1. The Gresham Hotel is located in the centre of Dublin City on O'Connell Street, making it very convenient for a range of bus, mainline rail, DART and LUAS connections. This event is free of charge with refreshments and lunch included .
This Conference should appeal to people working in the areas of blood transfusion or those with an interest in patient safety and care. Booking forms will be available shortly.
The NHO is also exploring the possibility of holding a Workshop event on Saturday 20th November, 2010 in the National Blood Centre .We will advise when arrangements are finalised.
Call for Abstracts
The NHO invites abstract proposals for the poster competition at the Annual Conference. Themes and content may cover any aspect of Haemovigilance, e.g. audit results, individual case histories, clinical practice in transfusion etc. This competition is open to everyone with an interest in Haemovigilance.
Abstract submission document
Closing date for receipt of abstracts is Friday 1st October, 2010
