Geraldine's Story

My dad passed away two days before Christmas 2010. Without the help of blood donors he would have had died a lot earlier. He was diagnosed with Myleodysplasia syndrome in March and since then was receiving regular blood transfusions, which thankfully prolonged his life. We are extremely grateful for the extra time we got to spend with him. We also got time to accept his illness also.

Thanks so much to all blood donors, you really are saving and prolonging lifes.
